Looking to broaden your technical skills as a budding researcher in ecology ?
Interested in different fields of ecology ?
Join Ecology Autumn School from 6th to 10th November 2023.

This event is open to all young researchers in ecology (PhD students and postdoctoral researchers). We particularly encourage the participation of PhD students working in the laboratories associated with the OSUG, which stands as our funding partner.

From Past to Future

The theme of this Autumn School is "Biodiversity : past, present and future".

    • a synthesis of biogeographic knowledge in european mountains and modern methods to study biogeographical patterns,
    • a diverse vision of pollution impact on biodiversity,
    • the link between past and present biodiversity, how historical explorations have inspired scientific thinking and concrete example of current biodiversity assessment,
    • introductions on major statistical methods in ecology including temporal series, distribution and invasion prediction,
    • a field session with botanist, evolutionist, ecologist and conservatory expert.
  • There will be sessions with open discussion hours between all participants, including a poster session.
