Analysis and Technical Support Platform for Scientific Computing

Scientific manager : Frédéric BOYER

This technical platform has 4 main areas of activity :

1. Supervision (and office accommodation) of CDD staff recruited on projects whose activities concern data analysis and/or software development.

 

2. Advice and training to the members of the laboratory on data aspects (from data extraction to data analysis) and on the use of computing resources available to the laboratory

3. Développements, logiciels, web
– manipulation of gene sequence files (OBITools)
– vegetation model (FATE)
– project websites (Atlas of cushion plants, ORCHAMP)
– ...

 

4. Common services
  • internal to the laboratory :
    administration of Relational Database Management Server (PostGreSQL) and Cartographic Data Management Server (ARCGIS), administration and management of Web Site.
  • at OSUG and/or GRICAD level
